ABOUT ME
My name is Justin Videry Kok, a Mechanical Engineering who graduated from UC Berkeley who is now working as a Project Engineer.
I was born and raised in Indonesia where I lived the majority of my life, and it was where I found my interest in engineering, beginning at an early age. Growing up, I loved to observe buildings, structures, gears, motors, and the likes. I found it fascinating to see ingeniously designed delicate moving pieces work together in harmony, bringing a seemingly immovable structure to life.
Still fueled by this charm, I decided to pursue my passion for engineering and went to the United States to study Mechanical Engineering. Now as a passionate and avid engineer, I enjoy approaching complex problems with my personal innovative methods. I especially enjoy working in a diverse team, as they too could inspire me by their own train of thought, allowing me to learn a lot more.
I am certainly open to more opportunities to learn about the vast applications of Mechanical Engineering in this modern world. Please feel free to contact me through the "Contact" tab to have a coffee chat!
Of course, I do have other interests. I am a beginner golfer who aims to perfect his swing through countless hours practicing at the Presidio driving range, a car enthusiast who loves the engineering behind vehicle design, and a casual tennis player who periodically plays tiebreak sets after work. Additionally, I would consider myself as someone who is invested in the stock market. I admire Warren Buffet's investing strategy, and I have built my own portfolio taking inspiration from his style.
